All these countries have become a familiar missionary ground for me.
I have come to know many people in these various countries, and they
have become a true family in Christ for me. Every year I come back
to some of the places I have been before, but new places always
come up in the itinerary, so it is a permanent discovery of more and
more faithful pockets of the remnant of Christ that render guard in
the Catholic Church all over the world, and also a good size of
people who are in the process of considering entering a state of
obedience to God, plus those that sometimes stumble into a hall by
accident and find themselves in one of my talks, or are brought by
someone as a guest- a lot of the times as a long shot in the middle
of the evangelization that goes on in every faithful Catholic's life
among their peers and friends.
All of these events mark the missionary trail with a distinctive
nature and a unique experience that even though it takes place
within the grounds of the Church or the Catholic's family life, it
is something new every time. It is a great school where one is
challenged every time to love much more, to forgive even more, to
listen closely at what everyone has to say. To be constantly aware
of how important every soul is to God and how much one has to
realize that and behave accordingly in order to be a real true and
faithful missionary; messenger of the love of God. How much one has
to overcome idiosyncrasies, cultural expressions, language barriers,
local laws, and turn all of these into an opportunity to present
Christ in the heart of all and in the midst of everyone's life.
The UK is a territory where Catholics are surfacing from within deep
of the grounds of martyrdom. One can see God's justice operating at
high levels. Life in a civilization like the UK is turning more and
more into a very superficial and materialistic life where God is
placed in everyone's closet or history library. It is clear that the
rushing of people after money and the conquering of all kinds of
trivial earthly goals makes their daily life one of loneliness and
endless want, where anxieties seem to be the colors of
their personal flags. But one is able to find lotuses in the midst
of this lonely lake, floating beautiful as lanterns of hope, and
those are the children of God. They are perhaps not many, but they
are always there, as hope and charity for all of the massive lost
souls that wander through cities like a gigantic machinery part that
moves the engine of a vehicle that runs wild to nowhere land. I can
see how to be able to survive as a Christian through the times we
are living, one has to consume the very Body and Blood of the Lord,
otherwise one couldn't possibly keep the faith. Traveling and
missioning in the UK has given me a clear vision of the future of
Christianity. If I was to explain what I see when I say that
Catholics are emerging from within the endless pools of martyrs'
blood left buried under the ground by the ire and revenge of the
reformation, I was to say that the unity of Christianity is not
going to be achieved by a human dialogue, but it is going to be
possible because no Christian that doesn't have the fullness of the
sacraments and the roots of sacred tradition, will be able to make
it, will be able to keep the faith. There is not going to be any
other possible Christianity at the end of these times, than that
that has the roots planted at the beginning of the Church right at
the heart of Jerusalem, right at the foot of the site of the
crucifixion where they lifted up the Lord. No other possible
man-made Christianity will survive. Many Christians of all walks of
life will join the true bread of life: The Eucharist. They will
know, that there is no other way. That bread of life will only be
found under the blessing of the seat of Saint Peter in Rome. This
perhaps sounds impossible to many, but it is a true fact and it is
not very far away in the future.
The mission in Ireland is one of great observation for me. The
Republic of Ireland holds in its womb a great wound inflicted by the
horrendous demonic murdering of so many Catholics during the period
of the reformation and many years after, through the famine and
more. Today, one can see an Ireland that seems to have forgotten a
lot of that history because it is entertained with the glitter of
the new world order, the supply of material opportunities produced
by a system that has widened the spectrum of survival to a extent as
never seen before. Many are enchanted with abundance, prosperity and
a fashionable culture that envelopes them in the stadium of
pleasures and the power of money and social life. So much that one
sees terrifying sects like that of the new born Christians, and
protestants even from the immediate neighboring Ireland of the
North, that has been the nest of many Satanic masonic groups that
have persecuted Catholics for years burying thousands of them in the
midst of horrifying scenarios of martyrdom, welcoming them, and even
paying attention to their heretic teachings and preaching of a
hybrid Christianity man-made by the spirit of hatred and revenge. In
spite of it all, I find time and time again a remnant of good
Catholic Irish that stand firm under the holy wings of sacred
traditions and obedience to the hierarchy of the Church of Rome.
Even clergy that still is faithful and holy, which in today's Church
is not very common to find. That gives one hope and especially shows
the power that lays within the deep roots of Christianity of a land
that has been a true home of missionaries, a true home of priesthood
and religious vocations for centuries.
I can see a new order approaching, a new spiritual breeze. The
world economy crisis is going to bring Catholic Ireland back to
a real perspective of the faith and the great entertainment will
be over soon. Irish people will return to their real lives and
embrace faith again. Probably it is not going to be a massive
come back, but many will do and it will bring back many
blessings to the country and the Church in general.
Canada has been one of my big worries during my missionary travels
around the world. I have seen it fall deeper and deeper in trouble
with God. The laws they have passed in the last decade, have placed
them in a state of damnation like never before. Even though they
seem to be in a fair social and economic position compared to many
other countries, their future is bleak if they do not turn back to
God soon enough. I can see the angel of chastisement hovering above
them and I can see the sword swinging from right to left. There is a
great body of spiritual support coming from the Filipino, African,
Korean, and Latin American communities, and they have provided a
cushion of reparation for the whole Catholic local Church and for
the whole country for that matter. The local Catholic Canadians have
fallen into a very superficial Catholicism; a liberal one that
appears to be more of a protestant type of Christianity, a very much
American Christian evangelical, Pentecostal type of Church. It is
sad, because it has weakened the relationship with the sacraments
and have killed vocations to the priesthood and religious life. One
can see many Canadian priest acting as pastors of
other Christian sects, presenting a hip image of priesthood
that appears more of a fashionable Church of people than a true
Church of God based on sacred traditions and obedience to the Holy
See.
As it is the case all around the world with the Catholic Church,
in Canada also we find the faithful remnant that holds its
position of true Catholics in spite of the times.
The world's economical upheaval will probably and hopefully wake
up the Catholics of Canada. We pray for this intention and trust
that the Lord will call them into a radical conversion soon
enough.
Nicaragua has been a place of missions for me for the last three
years. This year when I came, the country was going through
difficult times. They have a communist president and his party stole
the elections that just took place before my arrival and were
defiant with much violence against the opposition party. The
situation was tense during the 9 days I missioned there. The people
of Nicaragua are very special and Catholics are especially
committed. Like in every country, they have a mass of people that we
could call pagans, who adore money and political powers. Those are
the ones that contribute to bring chaos and injustice to the people.
We all should pray for this country of God where abortion has
been stopped by a true miracle of faith- where
there are many faithful trapped in the midst of a very dangerous
regime.
Lets all unite to intercede for them. I hope to visit them at the
end of this year again God willing. I have a very special love for
them and their battles and struggles in this difficult time of their
history.
Mexico has been to me, beginning with the miracle of Tepeyac, a
very, very special mission place. Mexican Catholics are very
spiritual and even
very mystical. It is a country loved very
much by our
lady the Virgin Mary. The mystery of her apparition almost 500 years
ago, is still not even discovered in its fullness. It is so immense
that it is going to be transcendental in its power during this very
end of the times.
Mexico is going through a very painful state of purification. Large
legions of demons have arrived and are working on taking the peace
and the joy of the people of God away. The drug lords and the
corruption of the institutions has grown very much and it seems to
continue growing. Those demons are horrifying, I had to deal with
them in the jungles of Colombia when I was a prisoner of the FARC
rebels. They are the same legion and come from the same area of
hell, same chorus of demonic hierarchy.
It is a joy though to travel through the Mexican Catholic Church and
to meet so many that are truly working hard on the conversion of
their people. They are truly concerned about the difficult times and
the invasion of demonic forces. Communist presence is always another
sign of demonic forces and they have a share of it in the very heart
of Mexico, the Federal District, as Mexico city is in the hands of
ferocious communists.
Lets all intercede for this very special country of our Lady and
lets unite with the soldiers of Christ who are fighting there to
defeat the forces of evil.
May God help us all and protect us from evil. Amen!
