MISSION IN IRELAND AUGUST 2007

Following the mission in the UK, I traveled to Ireland starting with the city of Dublin. This is my fifth time missioning in Ireland. This time I visited 24 cities in the south and north of the country. The country has been divided by the murderous invasions of English protestants who kept part of the north east side of the island. Irish people have no borders and they have always considered themselves the same people with the exception of the English protestants who remain in the north and consider themselves different than the Catholics, even superior, because they have been cursed with the practices of freemasonry mainly of Scottish origin, and lost their sense of charity and the true sense of Christianity to the extent that they have been murdering Catholics for a few centuries even until today, an action which is considered a heroic act amongst them.

These Protestants are mainly of Anglican, Presbyterian origin and now they have the incoming forces of the American Christian magicians like the evangelicals, Pentecostals, Adventists and Baptists and the so called sect of the New Born Christians. These commercial sects made in the USA are very appealing for the weak and the spiritually lazy.

They bring in the goods of Simon the magician of the Acts of the Apostles. The right preaching for those asleep who are only concentrating on physical healing and material prosperity. A Christ that already did everything  for us living  to enjoy the world and not having to worry about sin, far from focusing on eternal Glory. Therefore, let us all be one, let the homosexual be free to exercise his gifts within the community and to share it with the children and everyone, let them be priests and let there   be divorce, because God in the person of Jesus created us to be happy, let not there be pain or suffering. let us claim our health from the Lord. A horrifying view of Christ that is becoming more and more common and contaminating even some of the areas of weak Catholicism.

But in the midst of all of this, it is wonderful to see a Church in its renewal in spite of so much materialism which has taken the heart of the faith from many good Irish traditional families. Those that are faithful are concerned about the fallen away and are working much harder to bring them back. The Marian movements are strong in their nature and traditions. The army of our lady of Knock ,as I will call it, is a powerful force in the Catholic Church of Ireland. The silence of Knock, as I will call it, is one of the most mysterious apparitions ever during the Irish times of the famine and one that had no visionary, no spoken message, but the most powerful presence of God in the most amazing silence. One day soon with God's help, I'll write a mystical reflection on this meditation.

I traveled through the country north and south of the Island and missioned in many parishes, prayer groups, and to priests and religious. I have been getting more and more familiar with the Irish Catholic Church and its people and it is a joy to discover the greatness of their Christian history, one of martyrdom and deep anointing of the Holy Spirit through the centuries.

I traveled in the west coast with a group of missionaries from England: The Golden Chain of England, with whom I have been missioning throughout the UK and Ireland for the past 6 years. We had a group of priests very close to us, one of whom was in his seventies; follow the venues for a few days celebrating along the teachings, a Mass of family tree healing. That made the mission very much stronger in itself.

I could only say, that even though on the surface one can see Ireland falling into deep materialism, in the depth of the heart of these people, one can never deny that they have a very strong spiritual inheritance and therefore the falling soldiers who went into the illusions of the world and got married with money and so on, will be able to come back if the faithful continue praying stronger and believe that God never abandoned His people. Christian sects and magical philosophies will continue to enchant the weak and the careless Catholics, but this is only a wind of the dark that has no power in itself if Eucharistic soldiers continue to team up and fight the good fight of the Gospel.

I know that my spiritual language is one that may appear hard and sometimes too mystical for those that live a cultural Catholicism, but I'll continue to speak in these terms for as long as I live, because this world is full of politicians, and politics won't take us to heaven.

May the Lord Jesus and our lady the Virgin Mary bless Ireland and its people and protect her from the forces of evil. Amen!
