A
MISSIONARY'S REFLECTION OCTOBER 2006
We are living times that are most unique in essence. We can’t possibly ignore as
a people of God that we are confronted with the eminent signs of the end of the
end times. This couldn’t possibly be a secret for any child of God that is
living a life of obedience and therefore wares a clear discernment of the times.
We need to support the missions and missionaries spiritually by interceding
before The Celestial Court for the well-being of the messengers, so that we can
be strong enough to face the gigantic and aggressive attacks of the forces of
evil against humanity today.
These are not the regular times of missions. These are the total emerging of all
hell creeping into the Church of God and into the hearts of the youth and
humanity in general.
Lets place our hand right in the heart, so that we can clearly feel the
pulsation of the Sacred Heart who lives within and beats perfectly to the tempo
of the battle.
Let's be aware that these are not the times for mediocrity, lukewarmness,
wandering or doubting. These are not times for self indulging in our humanness,
or forgetting our military duties as an army of God.
These are the true times of the radical conversions. If we do not absolutely
convert, we’ll be broken down by the evil one. Let us hear the trumpet call
right now and not tomorrow, it could be already too late for many of us.
The spiritual darkness has a peculiarity: It shows in the midst of a glorious
and glamorous material world. That is why many fall and do not notice that the
whole abyss has come up from under, and everything is damp from the
putrefactions of its evil nature dressed up us light.
Let us wake up, soldiers of Christ. The time is here and now to face the mission
we were sent to fulfill. No fear should we ware, only trust in God and courage
to die for the calling of the Cross, for the calling of the Gospel!
Let us go now, lets show the whole world that Jesus is Lord and His coming back
is in our midst.
We are the Army of Christ and He is our King and Lord. Amen.
Mission in Venezuela October 2006
I arrived to Punto Fijo via Caracas on the 29th of September to start my third
mission in Venezuela. Punto Fijo is an oil production city on the north
Caribbean coast of the country. A beautiful city with many enthusiastic
Catholics and very hot weather. Temperatures where high during the weekend I was
there.
I was welcomed by a priest and a group of lay people called "Couples for Christ"
that was founded in Brazil and now is part of the Catholic church worldwide.
We started the next day with a retreat for the whole day in which I presented
first my testimony of conversion, the central matter of my mission, and
thereafter we went on to different topics like Divine Infancy relating it to the
dying to self and the becoming like children in order to enter the Kingdom of
God. We spoke about being true soldiers of Christ and about the mystery of the
silence of the Cross. We agreed on setting up a retreat for the upcoming lent in
March.
Sunday I was taken to Coro; the city for my next mission. This is a pretty city
that is a little more commercial and industrial. There I was welcomed by a group
of ladies who prepared a very busy mission and was given shelter by an Italian
family who have a special dedication to the hearts of Jesus and Mary.
It was a true Joy to be with them. I preached in a few different parishes and we
had a very anointed journey consecrating the whole nation to the Lord Jesus and
our Lady the Virgin Mary. Everybody was intensely supplicating to the Lord for a
new Venezuela, for the end of the evil ruling of the devil. I left with my heart
filled with hope after sharing with a people of God that was humble and
repented, willing to fight hard for the goodness of the Gospel amongst them.
Next, I traveled to the city of Barquisimeto, mainly a business city with a
Marian center that houses the largest marian devotion in a nearby town: Our Lady
Divine Shepper. I was told that over two million pilgrims gather every year for
her feast day. It is known as one of the largest Marian congregations in the
Church worldwide.
I missioned with a group of laity who are highly committed to sheltering
abandoned children; some who were left by parents who couldn't take care of
them, others were left by people that did not love them, who just left them
behind. It is a magnificent act of charity, it made me very sad and yet very
happy, because of the contrast with human misery at its lowest and God's Mercy
in its splendor. One has to cry before such a scenery, but one has to remember
also that these children are not the only ones abandoned.
I moved on to the city of Valencia where I teamed up with the lay group who was
responsible for organizing my mission in Venezuela this time. We were happy to
meet again. right away we engaged in prayer, consecrating the next three days of
the mission. We had a weekend retreat and were able to touch many hearts that
were truly hungry for Jesus. It is a very beautiful thing to see so many people
truly attentive to every detail that The Holy Spirit has for them. They work
hard at asking many questions after the talks and deep reflections took place
for long sessions.
The whole mission was blessed by a spirit of hope and conversion and also like
in many other cities in the country at this time, a spirit of supplication for
the freedom of the country from the hands of the evil one. We received very
reliable information about the fact that the actual president and part of his
cabinet is consecrated to an African cult called Babalao which deals with very
heavy magic, spiritualism and divination. It is said that they consecrate the
whole country every month to Satan but they name the demons with the name of
saints, something that is known as Santeria, which is supposed to be Fidel
Castro's cult also. It is the official satanic spirituality of Cuban nationals.
The stories about it are endless and beyond scary. We Catholics truly need to
unite and pray for a change in the upcoming elections of that country.
I traveled to Caracas and held four different venues in parishes and convents.
It is a city of beautiful cathedrals and churches of all kinds. Churches are
presently full to capacity in all of masses around town, daily and on Sunday
masses. One will guess that it is due to the pressure of the times they are
enduring, but I'll add that it is also a feverous people and it is time for a
special spiritual battle where every spiritual weapon has come out and has to be
put to use. Even though it is sad to see people go through what Venezuelans are
going through, it is somehow a great experience to share this moment due to the
seriousness of the battle they are fighting, so the whole ground is trembling
and prayers are powerful, filled with the Spirit of God. One can sense the wings
of Mercy hovering all around the faithful.
I truly felt the blessings everywhere of a Faithful God who never abandons His
people.
From Caracas I flew to the Caribbean Isle of Margarita, a very beautiful
vacationers place for locals and tourist from all over the globe.
I had a very blessed mission of three days giving a day retreat at a Catholic
school which was open to everyone, and then a few other talks in different
churches and prayer groups. There was no much difference with the rest of the
country with the urgency of prayer for a drastic change in the nation. I teamed
up with their intentions and dedicated every venue for the liberation of the
country. We plan on setting up a retreat for the upcoming lent God willing.
I returned to Colombia on the 15th of October where I'm presently missioning
until the 31st.
MISSION IN COLOMBIA SEPTEMBER
2006
I arrived in Bogotá, Colombia on the 30th of August and began a series of
retreats and spiritual assistance to many. Bogotá has a Pilgrim's of Love house
which is the main mission house for all the Spanish speaking countries. Many
people come with different needs. Life in south America is one of contrast. On
one end the faith is much more on fire spiritually. On the other hand, one has
to endure the climate of social injustice that still reigns in many areas. It
just tells you that there is not a happy and harmonious place on earth. It does
help to make one to strive more for the things that are from above. Being in
countries like Europe or North America, or even some places in Asia, gives one a
very scary view of the world because of the coldness, indifference and distance
from God, so if one compares both areas of underdeveloped countries and
industrialized ones, spiritually speaking, there is no other solution than to go
on our knees and repent fast, go through penance and sacrifices to repair for
all those that do not pray, for all of those that do not adore, for all of those
that do not believe, as the Angel in Fatima taught the little shepherds to do.
There is no time to waste; the Angel of chastisement has been set loose for a
while already, and the only force that possibly holds his hand back from hitting
hard in some places as he should, is true conversions of the heart, where the
spirit of true penitents can produce a level of spiritual light which crosses
the commands of chastisement into the Celestial Courts finding intercession from
the ones above who are close to the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit, such
as The Virgin Mary, Saint Michael, and all the saints, giving license by God
through the gift of canonization for the needs of the faithful and the request
for a truce made by the saints on earth with the promise to fight harder for the
truth and the love of God amongst humankind as reparation's souls. I'm not
presenting a picture of doom with the intention of exiting the innate
superstitious nature of people due to original sin, as false prophets of end
times do. I'm reflecting on a picture of a reality that is eminent in our world,
where the signs are clear: North America is in great danger of becoming much
lower than any third world country in all aspects. Due to its degeneration in
morals and values, the horrifying crime of abortion, and the decadence of the
media and entertainment world, God is going to take away every single grace and
blessing given through the faithful founders of those countries like the USA and
Canada if they do not absolutely enter on a path of radical changes towards God,
and as a matter of fact, it has to be done immediately, because there is no time
left for them. Europe is turning towards a total apostasy and serious
manipulation of world powers in the hands of terrifying satanic freemasons.
Where do these reflections lead us? To the understanding that the forces of
nature are shifting to an unexpected world order that is far from being
humankind's plan. What appears to be below today, will end up being above, and
what so surely remains above is collapsing to the very below. Every thing can
change and will change if people do make a change of heart, but the colors of
human conduct today, are so blair within the spiritual realms related to God and
His commandments, that there seems to be very little hope so far.
I met with the missionaries of "Hope of The Heart" from Italy (Esperanza dei
Cuori)that came to Colombia to mission in the jungle area of the Choco, a rain
forest of the country in the pacific side. For a few years this mission has been
steadily growing in evangelization and also in providing a better living for
natives from the Embero Katiro's tribes. Many were in the hands of the
horrifying lies of the evangelical sects, which come to Colombia to plant the
most terrifying hatred against the Catholic Church. Some have been in the hands
of esoteric and magical sects as the Jehovah Witnesses and the Mormons, but in
general, many have returned to the Catholic faith, and many didn't have a faith
at all. Today, some of the tribes, thanks to this mission, have a school for the
children, a medical center, a Chapel, electricity and some better means of
survival. What is even better: a relationship with God that is so beautiful and
sincere that will put a lot of cradle Catholics to shame in many of the places I
mentioned above.
Missioning in those places is a true challenge. The first thing a missionary has
to do, is to really decide if one will be able to give one's life for Jesus. You
are talking about walking in areas that are mined by violent and cruel guerrilla
groups, serious exposure to different kinds of threats, and in the midst of all
of that, it is a good challenge for a true Christian to find out how much
spiritual growth he has really achieved. We find today in our Church a lot of
good people that provide a sincere generous heart and help many missions around
the world, but very few brave missionaries that will venture beyond the cement
walls of the cities. The great adventure of missions today, is to go to the
ghettos and deal with prostitutes, alcoholics, prison ministries and drug addict
rehabilitation programs, but if called to go a little further than that, very,
very few answer the call. We are not exactly populated by a brave church today
unfortunately.
We'll continue to go to the jungle areas and many other places where only very
aggressive protestant and magical, esoteric sects go, or where human beings have
been completely abandoned to starvation.
Let's pray so that our Catholic Church has missionaries that are willing to go
all the way into bringing Jesus to the hearts of those that are so far away from
civilization, and who end up being ignored completely.
AUGUST 2006 MISSION IN IRELAND, SCOTLAND AND UK +
Photos
I arrived in Dublin on Monday the 7th of August and met with Camila McLaughlin
who is a committed laywoman of Churchtown with many years of Missioning with the
Catholic Church. I gave a talk that Monday evening at her prayer group in
Churchtown. She invited other guests from different areas of the Dublin Church
and we had a very anointed gathering. We spoke about the signs of the times and
worked on discerning the spirits of so many messages and messengers in our
church today.
On Tuesday the 8th I traveled to Northern Ireland to the city of Lurgan. I have
a beautiful family in Christ there. We met at the hall of the Church and were
able to share two hours of reflecting on being truly spiritual. We navigated
deep into the high waters of the Lord Jesus bringing about His invitation to
face our mortality always with the sense of being immortal. Something we often
forget, being this the reason for falling into a grave state of lukewarmness.
Northern Ireland is not a haven for Catholics; in some areas are English
protestants that are still extremely aggressive towards them. A lot of the
Northern Catholics have martyrs in their families. It shows in their serious
commitments with the faith. It is always an honor and a blessing to be with
them; true soldiers in the midst of hard persecutions because of their faith.
Pray for them and also give thanks to God for them.
On Wednesday the 9th I traveled to Donegal; a beautiful city on the Northern
west coast of the Republic of Ireland. I met with Mary Stuart and Rose Glyn of
the Golden Chain of England. They put together a talk supported by the parish
priest and we had a very well attended gathering with the assistance of four
priests; one of whom was an 84-year-old American priest. A very well known and
gifted priest, who played a great role at getting deeper in the continuation of
the evening gathering during the question and answer period. The parish priest
was very loving and enthusiastic too, he also presented a series of discernments
in light of what I preached, which raised level of the night to a very
spiritual. We were all very happy and thankful with the Lord Jesus for all the
gifts He poured upon us all throughout the evening. We planned to put together a
day retreat for the youth and one for adults in 2007 God willing.
On the 10th I traveled to Charlestown, a city 2 hours away from Donegal towards
the southwest of the Republic. I was met by Mary Brennam, a committed lay woman
of many years of service with the Catholic Church of the Republic. She invited
me to visit the Holy Shrine of Knock, where a mass for the Holy souls of
purgatory was being held and a healing service for the sick at the end of the
mass was being offered. Following the mass, we traveled back to Charlestown and
met with the parish priest. We sat with him and prepared the evening talk over
Lunch. Before I left Donegal, I was interviewed by a west coast commercial radio
station and that night the result of the interview proved to be very effective:
The Church was filled to capacity and we had people coming from many different
cities of the west coast. We had a very anointed talk and everyone was
graciously moved by the Holy Spirit. We spoke about getting together next year
in 2007 in a bigger setting and a longer venue.
on the 11th I went to Abbeylara in Longford. I met Anna Brady. We gathered at
St. Bernard's Church. It is always great to meet committed communities. It makes
one remember how much we have to pray for laity that give their lives to the
service of the Church, and make it possible for many souls to know God and to
return to the faith after being lapsed for many years in some cases, they make
it possible for the Kingdom of God to continue reaching every soul on earth. Our
evening was blessed and filled with the Spirit of the Lord. We had a great
attendance.
On the 12th I went back to Dublin and had another gathering put together by
Camila McLaughlin. It was a very mystic night and we continued to speak about
rising above our religious lives and reaching out to be more of the spirit,
coming out of the shelf of the devotional traditions and doing much more than
that: Changing the heart, working hard at becoming better persons every day,
turning to be those lanterns of light we where created to be. The Spirit of the
Lord was pushing hard to tell us not to be content with what we were doing and
to do much more, not to fall sleep and to become stronger in the faith every
day.
On the 14th I went to Killkeny to the Millhill Fathers, an old monastery where
missionary priests who spend their whole lives in Africa and India come back to
spend the last years of their lives. It is a great honor to be able to sleep
under the same roof with them and to sit at the table at meal times, to share
all of the wonderful anecdotes of their missionary lives. We had a very blessed
evening and a great attendance. It makes one understand how much we have to pray
for the missions and the missionaries. Please do. It is through these missions
that the Kingdom of God gets to every heart on earth.
On Tuesday I went to Killarney to the Parish Center at the Church of The
Resurrection. I met with Angela Leary and we exchanged many things about our
faith and prepared for the evening gathering which was very well attended. I
gave my testimony of conversion and prayed over people after the talk. It was a
very blessed evening, and everyone left high in the Spirit of the Lord. It is
amazing how being part of the same Catholic Church and living under the same
traditions and teachings, we are so different and have so much to offer. Each of
us, each one of us having such a different Charisma. Let's pray for unity, for
the love we are to share in Jesus our Lord, for the understanding we are to have
with one another so that we, together in one body, glorify only God and do
everything only for His Kingdom and to praise Him forever together with all of
the celestial Court and the suffering Church of Purgatory.
On Wednesday I went to Cork and met with Carmell Cleary. We gathered in a hotel
hall (Rochestown Park Hotel). It seems that there is difficulty with logistics
as far as receiving permission to bring a foreign speaker to the parishes due to
prior experiences that left the clergy's authorities being very careful about
it. I understood it and had no problem speaking at the Hotel Hall. We had a
large attendance and the evening was filled with blessings and healings.
On Thursday I drove to Northern Ireland again to the city of Amtrim. I met with
Maireid Evelyn. A mother of eight children. A beautiful Catholic committed
family.
I couldn't say enough when I meet people that are so loyal with Christ and that
are so hungry for anything that would make them better soldiers of the Church,
better human beings. We gathered at a place that was built by the local
government where there were several conference rooms. This city is Catholic in
its majority, something very rare in Northern Ireland. The attention of the
congregation was so great that I felt I was floating the whole time I was
speaking. There were children, youth of all ages, and adults from young to very
old. They were all without exception, completely concentrated on what I was
preaching. It was a very, very special gathering. We spoke about a much larger
retreat for next year God willing.
On Friday I flew from Belfast to Glasgow, Scotland to begin a three day mission.
I met with Chris, a very committed lay man who runs the Charismatic renewal in
the city. We had a day retreat on Saturday and on Monday I spoke at a prayer
group in a church hall.
I met with Catholics that were committed and some were converts from the
Anglican church and other denominations. Conversion stories that will fill books
relaying them, magnificent testimonies of our Lady the Virgin Mary and the
Eucharist, endless arms of God extended to souls He chose mysteriously and
brought them to the Catholic faith in a country where protestants have been
since Henry the VIII, very aggressive and violent to death against Catholics.
Other protestants that are not real Christians buy masons who hate the Eucharist
and have as a permanent target the persecution against the Catholic faith as an
offering to Satan their God.
I greatly admire those Catholic of Scotland and ask you to pray for them,
because under the same token as the northern England Catholics, they suffer
greatly under the evil of mason conveniently dressed up as Christians, who in
the end are only demonized human beings who have no doubt of martyring any
Catholic when ever their God so demands in one of their satanic masses.
I left Glassgow and flew to London during the terrorist scare and security at
the airports was extremely high. Not a very comfortable time for traveling; a
good sacrifice to offer. I went back to Walsingham the next day after arriving
in London to participate in the Youth 2000 weekend conference.
The Youth 2000 conference is held outside the town by the Catholic shrine of our
lady of Walsingham at the same site where the New Dawn conference is held. The
youth and their parents in most cases, camp out in the fields and as in New
Dawn, all of the conferences are held in a large tent. They have the blessed
Sacrament permanently exposed in the middle of the big tent and they call it the
burning bush. It is an amazing site. One can see the transformation during the
weekend, of so many youths, some coming for the first time. Many priests
participate, and the sacrament of reconciliation is held all throughout the day.
We were honored to have the Bishop of Lancaster come on Saturday night and hold
confessions, and co-celebrate the mass the next day with many other priests. It
was a great conference, and I was honored and blessed to be part of it as a
speaker. It is wonderful to share our faith with the youth, the future of the
Church.
With this weekend conference for the Youth, I finished the mission of this year
2006 in the UK, Ireland and Scotland. I traveled on the 29th to south America,
to begin a two month mission, mainly in jungle sites of Colombia and Venezuela.
June 2006 mission in Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand
PHILIPPINES
I flew from Los Angeles, California on May 29th to Manila, Philippines. After
meeting so many Pilipino Catholics in so many countries while Missioning these
last seven years, it was an honor and a joy to be able to visit such a blessed
country. It is rather unique to find the Philippines as a true Catholic jewel in
the midst of a true ancient pagan continent. Philippines shines in the midst of
it, because it has received Christ with obedience and observance to sacred
tradition and to the Hierarchy of the Church, in spite of so many years since
the Spaniards left, after evangelizing them. They remain faithful to Christ and
the Catholic faith. You find small groups of protestants here and there, rather
isolated and mostly embracing newly convert Asian foreigner and confused
Philippines who didn't grow up in solid families. New age is a force that like
in many Catholic countries throughout the world, is appearing to be threatening,
due to the lack of knowledge as to what it really is. The whole universal
Catholic church needs to be evangelized in this regard. But in general, I was
very confident about the Philippine's faith. I met with a very generous and kind
family who welcomed me and introduced me to different prayer groups in the city.
I met brother Anthony and his community in the outskirts of Manila. They gave me
a warm welcome and introduced me to their very anointed work of charity where
they host an orphanage, nourished by a number of monks who devoted their life to
mission with the abandoned children; some of whom were picked up from the trash
as babies.
The work is so immense and so beautiful, that words will not suffice by any
means. I can only tell you, that it will humble the most proud one.
I met with the charismatic and after five days in the country I left with the
commitment to come back soon to continue with a much larger mission throughout
the country. One thing in particular that I highly admire about Asian Catholics,
is the reverence they have in the temple. At the moment of sharing the peace
during the celebration of the Eucharist, they bring both palms of the hands
together to their chest and bow to the person on the right and the one on the
left, acknowledging the peace without a word, but in a very solemn way, making
you aware of the sacredness of the whole celebration, keeping the mystic of the
sacrifice alive. This being one of the many other particulars of their ways of
venerating.
It has been to me very difficult to be part of masses in North America, where at
the moment of sharing the peace, the whole church turns into a social gathering
where what is sacred is no longer there and people become so important, that the
greetings could extend for a while, interrupting the sacredness of the
sacrifice.
It was a very uplifting experience to visit Philippines and I'm looking forward
to my next mission there God willing. IT was agreed with brother Anthony to form
a group of my mission Pilgrims of Love for the continent of Asia, a missionary
group, to be sent throughout the continent to evangelize.
Please pray for this courageous country, so that they maintain the faith in
spite of these times.
MALAYSIA June 06
After Philippines, I flew to Malaysia, to Penang and then to Kuala Lumpur. A
beautiful country run by a Monarch with a democratic parliament. I must say that
even though it is a Muslim country, I didn't feel that the Christians there were
under religious pressure, persecution or oppression, as in some other Muslim
countries. Thank God!
The Catholic population is very small. The church is wealthy due to the fact
that Catholics there are mainly middle class and are well off financially. They
are converts from Buddhism and Taoism mainly. I found these converts and
especially the new converts, so hungry for Jesus and Mary and all the treasures
of the Catholic faith, that it really inspired me and gave me a lot of hope for
the conversion of Asia to Christ.
The Lord Jesus showed me with great clarity how it was that these people were
chosen by Him to be the missionaries that will enter China in a very large way
to evangelize them. They are all of Chinese descent and they all speak mandarin
or Cantonese. They know the Chinese culture well and will be able to fuse
themselves with the people there making the missionary work much more effective
that that of a westerner. The Spirit of the Lord Jesus is at work in a very
large way in that continent and I can see how it will rapidly spread throughout
the land, now that the Chinese are free to come and go out of the country as
they please.
I was able to preach at the Immaculate Conception Church in Penang, two nights
in a row and spoke in different prayer groups. It was a very anointed opening of
a mission that already began and it looks as if the Lord Jesus will keep it on
fire for a good while to come.
Please keep in your prayers all of these Catholics of Malaysia, they really need
your prayers, so that they will have the courage to follow the calling of the
Lord to go and take the Gospel to the main land.

THAILAND June 06
I united in prayer with the missionaries of the Golden Chain of the Holy Rosary
from London, England who were on a beautiful and powerful mission to pray for
the suffering souls of the tsunami victims. We were Missioning in those
countries around the belt where the tsunami struck. It is devastating to see the
decadent and immoral life of Thailand. They are living a business sexual life,
where they sell to tourists their little children and there are so many moral
issues in the country that one will need a great treaty to present it. Catholics
need to be brave and evangelize these poor souls that are in great danger of
eternal perdition. Thousands of souls were trapped by the tsunami, unprepared
and without having the least knowledge of God. The missionaries of the Rosary
Golden Chain went throughout the places where they felt many suffering souls
needed prayer. We all have to pray for those souls and make sure that we place
them all at the foot of our Lady's intercessory prayers, so that our mission as
a Eucharistic family in Christ is fulfilled.
Saint Louis, Missouri. Georgia, California, North Carolina and Florida May
06
Being back in Saint Louis, Missouri for me is meeting with a group of Catholics
with whom I have developed a beautiful mission in Christ Jesus. We agree in the
Immaculate Heart of Mary and praise the Lord through her, sharing the wonders
received by all of us from our Lady Queen of Peace of and other many
miraculous holy sites around the world. And when this is said and done, we
concentrate on spiritual growth.
We held a two-day retreat directed by father Mark Bosada. We were able to
internalize our faith in a way that brought us to a most humble state of
reflection, bringing all of us to a personal realization of our sinfulness,
limitations, and much more. It was good to be able to look at each other knowing
how much we all have to work on changing so many things that are still within us
and that do not belong to God, nor please God in any way. It was great to
re-discover that with new eyes, knowing also a bit more about God's mercy and
forgiveness in Jesus. Knowing that we have to do much more. That we haven't done
enough. That the way of the Cross with Jesus is much more demanding than any
other way. But realizing that it is the only way of eternal graces, of eternal
salvation.
The Lord was so present in every second of the retreat! We felt great company
from all heaven. We came out renewed and enjoying new blessings to face what
lies ahead of us.
Please pray for all of these families in Christ, so that they may continue as
strong soldiers of Christ!
CALIFORNIA May 06
North Hills was the first mission this time and I went back to MOM ; the Gospa
prayer group.
A Filipino community guided by a very strong and faithful Catholic lady by the
name of Juliet. It is a strong place for deepening the faith. During a two-day
retreat we worked very hard on growing beyond being religious. We talked about
realizing how long we have been in the church as Catholics and how much we have
really grown as a persons of Christ. How much better as human beings we have
turned out to be through the many or little years of being Catholics. How much
have our hearts really changed. Have we really understood above religion what
being spiritual means.
I spoke about Purgatory, presenting my mystical experience on Purgatory, leading
everyone to understand the seriousness of this very painful state of the soul
where we all good Catholics can end up, if we do not pay attention to what
meticulous means. We spoke about Christ Jesus never padding on the shoulders his
apostles about any thing. He kept them always on their toes, alert and awaken at
all times. We meditated on doing so much more, on giving so much more, on
growing so much more. Oh! It was a blessed retreat. We pray that everyone that
was present and everyone that will be able to listen to the retreat in any of
the recorded formats, will highly benefit from it. The Lord was demanding of a
much stronger commitment, of a much deeper faith. He was demanding much more
than being a practicing Catholic. He was demanding Sainthood and perfection.
Please pray for all of these souls that come to this great community and for
their leader, so that the good Lord Jesus keep her faithful and strong.
CONYERS, GEORGIA May 06
Going back to the Farm for the fifth time was a joy. We had a series of talks in
English and one in Spanish. I was blessed to be there for May 13. Many pilgrims
from all over came to the celebration of this wonderful gift. The Gift of
Fatima. It was so uplifting to see so many Spanish immigrants that came from so
many places in big buses, some came as far as from New Jersey.
It was clear that it was not necessarily about a specific geographical place
anymore. It is about the thirst for God. His people are looking for nourishment
everywhere. Getting together to celebrate a date as trascendental as the
apparition of our Lady of Fatima, gets us to contemplate a sad picture of the
world today: It has not changed much since the last warning of Fatima. After
that warning world war II began and devastated a great part of the whole world.
We wonder what is going on today?. Is it possible that today's world is already
undergoing the last chastisement and it could easily be the total degeneration
and secularism of the people? The great apostasy! People are either growing
hungry for Jesus or desperately hungry for the things of the world. The ones
hungry for Jesus are a very limited number comparing the total world population.
God's Mercy is so large, that the handful of faithful that receive Holy
Communion daily, had made it possible for this world to still have another
chance in spite of being worst than any evil empire in the whole human history.
One thing is for sure. Growing spiritual is concentratingon being prepared to
see Jesus today! Not tomorrow.
May the Lord Jesus and our Lady of Fatima bless all of the pilgrims and their
families who travelled a long way to come and praise the Lord at the Farm.
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA May 06
My second visit to Raleigh. This time we reunited at Avila convent in the
outskirts of town. A beautiful set up surrounded by a lush greenery filled with
beautiful trees. We had a two-day retreat. The retreat was concentrated also on
internalizing the faith. We began by setting up a spirit of reflection on
realizing the sense of eternity of our soul. The Lord Jesus was present very
strongly throughout my conferences, making sure that we all focus deeply on what
is eternal. Leading us way above our mortality, so that we can begin to grasp
the real air of the spirit, to be able to cope with the times. He was showing to
how vital it is to fix our eyes on Him, exactly the same way Saint John the
apostle did. He didn't understand a thing about why the good Lord Jesus his
master, whom he knew to be God Himself, was allowing this whole thing of Calvary
to take place. But he remained put to the stations of the cross, in spite of his
not understanding it. It was his love for his master that kept him moving along
side by side until Golgotha. Jesus wants us to be alike in our daily life. To be
real warriors of His army by living a life filled with a sense of direction
focused on the celestial home. The City of Jerusalem from above.
It was clear to all of us that Jesus wanted to make us understand how vital it
was to view each other as souls. That alone will bring about a transcendental
change in our behavior towards one another. If we lift our eyes up to what is
spiritual and begin to be less and less of the flesh, our whole life will take a
definite turn to the light. Jesus was very clear on showing us how it is that
today, one cannot afford to be a lukewarm Catholic. One will not be able to
stand what is coming upon us in the very near future.
Please pray for all of the persons that came to this retreat, because if they
went out to fulfill the mission with their lives, that was clearly pointed out
by the Lord, they will definitely transform their environment around them, they
will bring about transcendental change in every one they will meet and their
families.
MIAMI, FLORIDA May 06
I came to preach again in this city. This time to the Spanish community only, to
prayer groups.
I can see how each one of the cells of the parishes they belong too, are real
lanterns in the midst of this darken desert of materialistic living. There is
very little doctrinal formation in this groups from the hands of the clergy.
Most of them have to find their own way of educating themselves in the faith.
One sees that most don't know what the Church wants from them and how much are
they allowed to do and not to do. Even though this is what is happening, I
observed a meticulous desire to be obedient to the Church in all aspects. This
is a very good sign all around. I noticed how the Catholic church in North
America, has grown more and more corporate like and less and less spiritual.
Priests are petrified to think about losing their parishioners and having to
face their Bishops afterward. Bishops are putting pressure on the priest to be
"prudent" and charitable to the faithful. They have been known to say: "We do
not want to scare them away with sermons of demons and tales of hells. We do not
want to call them a bunch of sinners want to make them feel welcome and to meet
a mercifully Jesus". Unfortunately, all of this is nothing other than the
Protestantism of the church. A church that is more and more a feel good church
than a true fighting one looking to become a Holy and perfect church.
There are hardly any local Spanish priests in these Spanish communities in
Florida. Most of the priests are borrowed from abroad. These priests have to be
careful as to what they say from the pulpilt. If they are very spiritual, they
will have to tame their holiness and be subjected to rules and regulations of
politics. Fortunately this is not the case with every parish or with every
Bishop, it's just a factor that has becomed more and more common over the years.
I finished the mission in Florida in the city of Orlando with the charismatic
renewal. I preached in several churches for a whole week and then met for the
Charismatic assembly in the Saint James Cathedral. A very large congregation
gathered from all parishes in the area. The Bishop of this diocesis is of Polish
and Cuban descent, he has been very open to the ethnic groups and kind and
giving to the Spanish community. Hope is in the area and please pray so that the
good Lord Jesus continues to bless this Bishop, so that he understands the
importance of reaching out to this very large community of Spanish people who
need their shepherd.
CLEVELAND, OHIO
AND MICHIGAN + PHOTOS April 06
I began missioning in Detroit on April 19th at the Opus Angelorum, the order of
The Holy Angels and the Holy Cross. I gave talks to some of their guests and
then to the brothers and sisters of the congregation. I was able to spend two
nights at the convent of the brothers, which was a great blessing to be among a
very deep spiritual order where one can actually rest from the constant
traveling and receive a spiritual uplift for what lies ahead.
I had four more venues in Detroit in different parishes for the English speaking
Catholics. I was invited for Divine Mercy Vigil on Saturday the 22nd at Catholic
Radio where I spoke about being a true soldier of God.
May the Lord Jesus and Our Lady The Virgin Mary bless all of these people that I
encountered during these days of mission in Michigan and Ohio. Let's pray hard
for the clergy that is weak in the faith and creates so much confusion in our
church and let's pray even harder for the faithful that stay firm in the faith
in spite of these times.
CANADA APRIL 14TH
THROUGH THE 18TH 2006
I flew from Caracas, Venezuela to Toronto on Good Friday, and the next day I
went to Kitchener, Ontario, a city one hour away from Toronto, to give a talk to
the Spanish community. I met with a group of Spanish speaking Catholics from
different countries who are truly hungry for God and have been working hard on
bringing about a true renewal of their faith. It is a joy to see this happening
among immigrants. I'm usually saddened by what I encounter in the immigrant
communities. A lot of them lose their identities and are consumed by the
materialistic ways of living in these industrialized nations. Along with that
they also lose God and therefore lose themselves. We shared a beautiful moment
of reflection of our faith and the Easter liturgical season to come.
That same evening I met with the Servants of the Holy Trinity in Mississauga and
shared a reflection on obedience. Through Carmel, the leader of this lay
community, I have been able to mission in different fronts of the faith. She has
the charisma of reuniting people of great diversity and it brings a spiritual
element that challenges one to get even deeper in the contemplation of the
mysteries of our faith. It was an anointed reunion and we are looking forward to
the mission we'll be sharing in Ontario this coming October God willing.
On Easter Sunday, I was driven to Ridgetown, Ontario to meet with father Martin
Johnston and to prepare for a two day mission in Windsor. In Windsor we teamed
up with father George Bune of the Basilian order and Jeff and Susan Cada, to
hold three different venues.
It was a blessing to be with them again and to see their struggle to stay firm
in the midst of an area of the Catholic church where churches are being closed
down for the lack of priests and where clergy in great numbers have gone into
new age and corporate mentalities. In the meantime, there are the remnants of
God always alert and courageously fighting for the truth and the proclamation of
the Kingdom of God.
On the evening of the 18th I went to Detroit to begin a 45 day mission in the
USA.
Venezuela + PHOTOS April 06
I arrived in Caracas, Venezuela on April 4th to start a 5 days mission.
Venezuela is a dear neighboring country which is going through a very difficult
purification in all aspects: politically, socially, economically and
spiritually. It reminds me of Colombia a while back, when starting a trial, a
purification that hasn't ended yet, but is getting to a much lighter level
nowadays. A time when life is worth nothing, where danger is out there hunting
every one and killing the innocent. A time of martyrdom. A time of persecution
to the morals and values, to religious believers. A time when government
officials are worshipping the devil in all aspects. I was told by dear Catholic
friends how so many government officials and high rank militaries, are
practicing
Babaloo, which is an extremely dark spirituality originally from Africa and
managed by high sorceres from Cuba. It is also known as "Santeria". It involves
long rituals where a great variety of animals are sacrificed and in some cases
human sacrifices. It is a long story not possible to narrate right now.
I went to the city of Valencia first to mission at a beautiful church run by the
Scalibrinian missionaries originally from Italy. I gave a talk to a large
audience that night and contemplated a sad congregation that was mourning the
killing of three young adolescent brothers and their driver who were kidnapped
by some corrupt policemen and executed after being severely tortured. They were
part of a very good Catholic Maronite Middle Eastern family. There were no words
that could encourage the audience to forget such a horrendous crime, but there
was a sense of reparation while I was relating to them the story of my
kidnapping in Colombia by the rebels of the FARC, during which I was called by
God to return to my faith. I was able to convey to them some of the suffering we
have had in Colombia and how we all had to kneel and dress ourselves like in the
old testament in times of trials: with sack cloths and ashes, asking God for
forgiveness. I spoke about the need of a true conversion, the calling of God to
humanity for a drastic change. It is not only Venezuela and Colombia and a few
other obvious countries which will be purified. It will be the entire earth. The
whole world has gone astray from God and the trumpets from high above are
sounding louder, for a while already, but there are not many ears to hear through
the noise of this corrupted world.
We came to the end of the two hours conference, with much more hope and strength
to fight the good fight of the Gospel. The Holy Spirit inundated the room with
much love and a Grace of mourning for the conversion of all sinners, for a true
change of heart. For the real love for the Eucharist. I was talking about asking
God the Father, to give us hunger for Jesus, for the Eucharistic bread, so that
we wont hunger and thirst at the moment of departing this body. I spoke about
how important it was to make sure it is Jesus we are hungry for and not hungry
for our poor selves for which only food we are able to provide is the poison of
sin. We had an audience which was rich in the variety of age groups. Two couples
had organized the event, both very committed to the church and filled with love
and enthusiasm for spreading the Kingdom of The Lord our God everywhere. We had
two radio interviews during the day, prior to the evening talk at the church. I
was highly taken care of by these dear brothers in Christ.
The next day I went to Barquisimeto, an industrial city and also a musical city,
famous for a great artistic talent of its people. I was able to get acquainted
with our Lady of The Divine Shepherd. It is a wonderful testimony of a priest
who 150 years ago during the time of the plague of Cholera, came to this area
and brought the statute with him and asked a favor from our Lady saying: Let it
be that I'll be the last one to die of Cholera, make me the last one, let's ask
God to end it with me. And so it was, he died shortly after his request and the
whole area knew about the great intercession of Our Lady before the Divine
Tribunal and how such a horrifying plague was stopped. After this, the devotion
to her has been so great that each year on her feast, close to two million
pilgrims come to the procession.
We were driving to a place where I was to give my first talk, when we ran into a
pilgrimage of the statute of our Lady of The Divine Shepherd, that was being
taken to another parish. It has been a tradition of many years, that during this
liturgical time of lent, she visits several parishes and the faithful give her
enormous respect.
I asked her silently as she passed me by: Lady, could you make sure that I get a
statute of you before I leave town tomorrow morning, I want to take you home and
introduce you to the servants of the house of prayer in Bogotá, who do not know
you in this avocation. Needless to say, the next morning as I was being driven
to the bus station to go to Caracas, my host stopped at a house and they invited
me in for a minute. The lady of the house walked me into a little chapel she had
in her beautiful house and after saying a prayer for me and my mission, she went
to the altar and picked up a beautiful statue of our lady of the Divine Shepherd
and told me: Our Lady wants you to take this back to where you are going.
I gave my first talk at a church downtown, run by a Spanish priest who came to
Venezuela 50 years ago as a missionary and stayed on with a wonderful mission
all of these years. He is 80 years old and he told me that he is happy and in
excellent health. He is a very holy man, I was able to gather that from him. He
built a church in a very poor and difficult area of town, he is charismatic and
has a great following from the humble and simple, he has so many testimonies of
his priesthood in Venezuela, I'll need an encyclopedia to write about him. He
was happy with my talk to his congregation and invited me to come back next
September God willing for a two day retreat.
In the evening, I spoke at a house where many faithful meet, it was a good size
congregation and I spoke a lot like the talk in Valencia, about the Eucharist;
especially stressing the point of giving it all to Jesus and Mary, to stop
mediocracy and to begin a real construction of the house of God in the heart.
Talking about how difficult it is going to be for those who do not nourish
themselves spiritually now, because they will not have enough strength to hold
the ground for God in a time not very far from today.
I parted town early the next morning . The brothers in Christ that hosted me in
Barquisimeto were especially committed. One of them had a mission of picking up
children that were autistic and retarded and who no one was helping. It is a
great and beautiful work of charity.
I was happy to meet them all and left with a heart filled with their love, which
was authentic love of Jesus, promising to return in God's will next September.
I took a bus to Caracas, which is a relatively short drive. Saturday the 8th I
spoke at a church in a two session conference for four hours total, to a good
sized audience.
The people in Caracas where also very receptive and open to the message. It was
very obvious that they knew what they were facing as a family and as a country.
It was not easy to face it. But the Lord worked wonders throughout the day and I
could sense the deliverance and healing presence all around them. It was a very
anointed day and everyone left with a share of Jesus' touch in their hearts.
Heaven was present in a very special tender and merciful way, during all of my
mission in Venezuela. Where there is so much suffering of the people of God,
there is always a consoling Christ that shows up with the Celestial Court to
tell His people: Do not be afraid, all things will come to pass. Follow my words
and you will find eternity, a permanent source of truth.
I left Venezuela with a prayerful heart fill with much love for all the
brothers and sisters in Christ I got to know and see again. They need our
prayers, so that God gives them strength and keeps them faithful and brave in
the midst of these present trials they are going through right now.
May the Lord Jesus bless the remnant of Venezuela, May He keeps them all
together. I have to say that the Venezuelan family that invited me to mission
there, I met in Vancouver Canada, they are an exemplary catholic family and I
highly appreciate their love and dedication to the Kingdom of God. May the Lord
bless them in a very especial way.

Ecuador+ Pictures April 06
It's a blessing and a joy to mission in a Catholic country like Ecuador. Due to
the range of my mission that takes me to so many different countries and
cultures, every time I have the opportunity to travel through a Catholic
country, my heart expands towards the Lord Jesus and His kingdom and I recharge
my self for what is before me in the immediate mission's future.
This is my fourth visit to Ecuador. My book on the testimony of my conversion
has been widely promoted throughout the country along with some other teachings,
which makes the mission easily known to many Catholics.
I missioned in Ecuador, first in the city of Quito. A beautiful tropical city
surrounded by four very tall volcanoes. The city is built on top of the highest
mountain in the country, and placed within the foot of the volcanoes as a long
strip that develops itself throughout the slopes of the mountains. Some of the
strips fall way down to the valleys where upper-class citizens suburbs are built
secluded from the noisy central areas of the city. On one of the mountain tops,
we see a magnificent statute of the Virgin Mary, a gigantic one brought by the
trapist monks from France a long time ago. One can enter the statute and through
her eyes see the whole scenery of the city and beyond. It is a representation of
our Lady of the book of revelations.
I visited four different convents in the city and gave the cloistered nuns talks
on monastic life. I wouldn't be able to describe the joy that I received when I
had the honor and the opportunity to talk to them. I was the main beneficiary. I
missioned with the Claire nuns, The Visitation nuns, The Conceptionist nuns, The
Dominican nuns and a new religious community called the mother of unity. The
first three are traditional order of nuns of the Church, all with a history that
goes back centuries in time. All these nuns live in convents that are on average
four to five hundred years old.
The holiness of these nuns gives one hope and shows us God's mercy with all of
the unfaithful believers that benefit from the blood of the Church by living a
lukewarm Christianity. These nuns give their lives for the Church. They make
reparations for those who do not love, do not believe, do not adore, do not
pray, who live a life of sin. Three of these convents have treasures like the
bodies of uncorrupted Holy nuns who died centuries ago and left valuable
accounts of God's wisdom revealed to them by Jesus Himself, our Lady and many
Angels and Saints.
The conceptionist nuns have an oratory on the second floor of the four hundred
and some year-old convent located in the very heart of the city, a statue of our
lady
of good success was ordered to be sculpted by a Spanish artist of high stature
in his craft. This was the year 1610. When the statue was almost finished, the
artist left the convent in search of special paints for the face of our lady and
the Holy child she was holding in her arms. To the great surprise of the nuns
who were praying at four a.m. at the oratory, the place where the statue was
placed by the artist, was illuminated and the Archangels Saint Michael, Saint
Gabriel and Saint Raphael finished painting the faces of the Lady and Child.
A majestic work of art as never seen before. Only with a very special permit
from the Archbishop can one enter the oratory. It was a great privilege to me,
that after the talk I gave the nuns, I was taken to witness such a wonderful
miracle. I was able to visit also the three uncorrupted bodies of the nuns who
died four hundred years ago. They looked as if they were perfectly sleep. Among
them was the body of the great mystic Mariana de Jesus Torres y Berriochoa. She
was the instrument of God to receive many messages from heaven throughout her
religious life in Quito at the convent. She was originally from Spain and came at
age 15 with her aunt who was the mother superior and founder of the order in
Ecuador. Shortly after her arrival, she also became a nun. She was able to see
our Lady of good success and our Lord Jesus all the time. She left great
prophecies written that have all been proven to be true.
It is not possible to share through the limitation of human language, the
experience I had amongst these very holy nuns of this community. They are a true
treasure of the Church.
I was able to talk at a university named San Francisco which was founded by
three scientists. A beautifully built place of unique architectural taste. This
institution is known among Christians to be an atheist university. The Head of
the university, one of the founder scientists, publicly declared that Catholics
were cannibals, because we claim to eat the body of a man and drink his blood.
This will probably give you the idea that he has of the Eucharist. He is labeled
as an eccentric by many of his peers.
I was invited to talk about the Columbian guerrillas of the Farc and the 70
years of social injustice. It was an opportunity to speak about values and
morals and any chance I had, I tried to present a word or two about the spiritual
side of life. The person who invited me is a believer and a very sensitive and
kind human being, which made the challenge of facing such an audience a little
easier. I was gladly surprised to find some students with a sensible heart for
God and a true concern for human morals and values. It shows you that regardless
of the environment, God touches people any where He so pleases.
I visited also high schools which were once Catholics and now are a combination
of ecumenic and new age Schools. Not an easy place to convey a naked message of
the Gospel.
But not everything is lost, wherever you go within the church today, you'll find
a remnant which follows the true and sacrifice their lives for Jesus' Kingdom.
I was also able to share the company of different missionaries like the Pilgrims
of Saint Michael and The Lazos Marianos of Medellin Colombia. Two missions that
combined their work together in Ecuador for the sake of the conversion of the
youth.
I went to Guayaquil, a beautiful city by the pacific sea, at sea level, with
high temperatures and a humid climate. I visited a shrine of our Lady of
Schonstadt where I gave a day retreat, and the following day we held another
retreat in town at a school auditorium.
Guayaquil is a fast moving business city and new age is a strong influence in
some of the upper-class Catholic circles and also among a few priests and nuns.
There is a place run by a Catholic priest where they exercise oriental
meditation traditions combined with Catholic prayers like the Our Father and
also practice Yoga as a relaxation exercise; it is called "Christian Yoga" if
you can believe it.
Just the mention of such wrong practices in the church caused for a couple of
ladies to walk out of my retreat in Schonstadt in a rage. In general, there is a
true intention of being a faithful Catholic in most of the people, but just a
few unfaithful ones, make the noise of what appears to be many.
The team working with me were seriously committed laity, outstanding in all of
their efforts to get the message across to their people. Strong and brave
soldiers of the Church. I could only feel proud of each one of them. The
generosity of many of them made it possible for this mission to continue to its
next step.
I could write pages and pages about this last mission in Ecuador, especially
about mystical experiences in the convents. I can only say that visiting the
Catholic Church in this country gives one hope especially because of the
holiness and miracles that occur behind closed doors in those holy convents and
monasteries, many of which I wouldn't be able to share at this time.
Please pray for Catholics in Ecuador so that God continues to bless them. They
are a true army of God and in spite of the unfaithful, they stand firm at
sunrise and sunset every day for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colombia between January and February
Colombia is the country where I lead the largest mission. The reason being is
that it is here where my whole conversion story begins, where my mission opens
up after being released from captivity in the jungle and returning to the faith.
So it seems as if it grows every year. I do concentrate mainly with the poor. I
spent many years coming to missions in Colombia and giving hundreds of
conferences in the cities, small towns and villages, and also working missions
in the slums of the cities. In the last three years I have visited the jungle
sites and the very remote areas where missionaries do not go any longer. There
used to be catholic missionaries from all over the world, who will risk their
lives for the cause of the gospel and for the sake of the poor. They seem to
have all past away. They do not come any more. I travel miles and miles of
jungle all around Colombia and do not find missionaries at all. Once in a while
you see a few here and there. The protestant sects are the ones that are
capitalizing in Catholic missionary laziness and indifference and are buying the
poor with food and clothing, filling them with horrible errors of faith and
planting hate in their hearts against the Catholic Church.
Not all is lost though. We have started a great body of missions all around the
country and together with the Legionaries of Christ and other missions of new
communities, new blood is coming in. Traveling through North America and Europe
is not surprising that we do not get any missionaries from those countries as we
used to. They do not even have vocations for the priesthood any longer. It
appears to be that Missionaries from this side of the world will have to travel
to those countries to take the faith back and to evangelize those who once were
the evangelizers.
I have visited a few of the Clarisse nuns in different cities, they are cluster
nuns, who together with the Visitation nuns, are some of the very few catholic
religious congregations that are not polluted with new age practices from the
old traditional communities of the mystics and doctors of the church. Thank God
for the new communities and the proliferation of perpetual adoration chapels,
which come to replace what seems to be falling apart and away. The life of a
religious community even if it is spread all over the world, is a very small
one. They know of each other in detail, no matter how far they could be from one
another, due to technology today. So, when one of those communities falls into
new age practices, it is as if cancer hits the congregation. Little by little
they begin to lose it and vocations are short, they stop praying the liturgy of
the hours, stop adoration, get rid of the habits, buy a tv. and get plugged
away with the world as any ordinary citizen. No longer cluster life, no more
giving their lives for Christ, no more obeying sacred tradition. The whole
community in a few years falls apart. You find nuns living by themselves in
apartments that were bought with the money they get after selling the convents
and their facilities.
Reading this report, any one will think that the church is falling apart, but it
is far from the truth. If anything, the church is growing stronger. God is good
with those who are faithful. The fact that there are countries loosing their
graces because of their pagan ways and materialistic habits doesn't mean that
God is not showering those faithful ones on other sides of oceans who are firmly
there in obedience to His will. The Church will always prevail against all
circles of humanity.
It is untouchable, because it is the mystical body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Generations of people come and go by the millions. Cultures crumble to sinful
ways, hundreds of religious expressions of the Church also come and go with the
centuries, but there is something that never changes with time and never will
and it is the word of the Lord written in the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Spirit
traveling with the people of God through the centuries, always inspire the
Church with the new winds and the movement of the spiritual tide of the Catholic
Faith's sea.
Traveling through the poorest areas of Colombia I find hope. Those very poor
people of God, His favorites, are so Holy and so spiritually strong, that there
is no doubt in my heart at all, that they are the reason the Ire of God hasn't
unleashed yet. Not only because of these humble-hearted poor people of Colombia,
but those equal to them from all over the world. They are probably not masses of
them, but enough to bend the Almighty’s Heart into waiting a little longer.
Tomorrow I travel to a mission in Ecuador for ten days. It is going to be my
third mission in that country. I'm looking forward to coming back to the mission
there. It is easy to develop a great brotherhood of true love of God, with the
people who are fighting the good fight of the gospel.
May the Lord Jesus and the Virgin Mary bless you and please pray for the
missions, so that we find kind and generous people who are willing to help and
aid the needs of the poor.
JANUARY 24TH MISSION
DAY AT THE FOYER DE CHARITTE, COGUA, COLOMBIA + Pictures
In Ridgetown, Ontario, Canada, there is a parish named St. Michael the
Archangel. The parish priest for the past 14 years, Father Martin Johnston, just
retired last June. The history behind this parish priest is the center of this
report. It was at The Foyer De Charitte Catholic religious community, where I
met Father Martin 5 years ago. I have missioned since then with Father on many
occasions and in different countries. Father has an admirable charitable heart
and a true commitment to Missioning with the most needy and underprivileged. He
teamed up some 30 years ago with a Colombian priest by the name of Father
Fernando Umaña, who is the Priest Father of this Foyer community. They both have
achieved a great deal of work throughout the years. Father Martin has provided
great financial support and spiritual partnership to Father Umaña and in return,
Father Umaña has provided a great deal of inspiration to Father Martin’s
priesthood. Father Martin travels yearly to Colombia with a group of Canadians,
who come with two suitcases each, filled with goods for the poor. At the same
time, this group usually experiences a great change of heart and in many cases a
transcendental conversion.
There are many Foyers around the world and each one for sure has, like in
everything that comes from God, a particular Charisma. This one especially, has
been the kind of monastery where hundreds of people that come for retreats,
leave with a heart that has been touched by God. So I’ll say that it’s a much
anointed place.
I came here on this date, to give a retreat to Father Martin’s Canadian group.
The retreat was for a whole day that included four conferences, and ended with
mass.
I usually meet in Canada during my missions, with some of the Canadians that
come to Colombia, so it was a joy to be able to share a day retreat in such a
special place with all of them.
Father Martin has supported my mission with the poor in Colombia, and each time
he comes, he brings aid for them, like rosaries and liturgical vestments for the
poor parishes in the jungle areas, and many other goods. Father Umaña has also
been a blessing for my mission since I began being a full time missionary 6 and
a half years ago.
In the retreat, I spoke about my testimony of conversion, The Eucharist and the
Church, Fallen angels and Angels of God and the sense of Christianity.
There is a great Charismatic spirit in both priests' lives, so that makes being
with them a very unique and anointed opportunity.
The Foyer De Charitte was founded in France by a mystic by the name of Marta
Robin, who was a victim soul and lived on the Eucharistic bread alone for many
years. It is truly a mystical experience to get to know all of the blessings
that she received from the Lord Jesus and how it is being carried by these
communities around the world through magnificent silent retreats that enlighten
and challenge the faithful in a big way.
Please say a prayer for Father Umaña and Father Martin as they continue to serve
The Lord.

Peru December 25th through 31st
2005 + PICTURES
Peru is mainly a Catholic country. I was invited to mission there by two great
apostles of Christ who reside in Conyers, Georgia: Michael, an American citizen,
and Maria del Rosario a Peruvian citizen. This couple has worked their way into
a true commitment with the church.
I arrived in Lima on the 25th of December and connected to another flight to a
city on the pacific north coast by the name of Chiclayo. There I met Michael and
Maria who drove me to a village of about 5,000 people called Luya. We missioned
in the cities of Tuman, Chiclayo and Luya until the 28th and then went to Lima
where I missioned with them at prayer groups.
It was a beautiful experience to be able to share with so many humble and simple
hearted people. I had a great interest in finding out more about the Baby Jesus
of Cuzco. I was given a beautiful picture of Him and obtained a statute with a
thorn in the sole of His left foot. You can see a picture of this statue in the
front page of my web site.
The story says that in Cuzco a long time ago, the children used to play in the
front yard of the church and the priest got annoyed because sometimes they
ruined the garden. The priest ordered a fence of thorns to be built in the front
yard. A few days after this was done, he found the Baby Jesus statute that was
in the main altar, with a thorn in the sole of His left foot and was bleeding.
The priest realized that the Baby Jesus was one of the Children that used to
play outside and immediately repented and ordered for the fence of thorns to be
taken down.
I'll be back, God willing, to mission in Peru in the month of March. I visited
the sanctuary of the Peruvian Saints in downtown Lima. Quite a site! The remains
of Santa Rosa de Lima, Saint Martin of Porres and San Juan de Acasias. All three
in one altar together. It was a great blessing to pray by them. The miracles
that The Lord Jesus performed through these three saints are uncountable. Saint
Martin de Porres was seen flying to mass on a few occasions when he was late,
and he brought in on two occasions, a few of his brothers with him. The stories
of these miracles are so unreal that it make you wonder where faith has gone in
today's Christianity. It is a combination of sadness for this materialistic life
we are living today and a sense of hope to know that God uses all of us
regardless of race and culture, when we are willing to give ourselves truly to
His kingdom.
It is also great to know how large our church is. Peru is a Catholic country
that will make many dishearten Catholics around the world very happy. There is
hope when you travel throughout the church in Latin-American countries. Even
though the protestant sects exported by the thousands from North America get to
buy people's attention with food and horrifying stories against the Catholic
faith, still we have a very large population of Christian Catholics that remain
very faithful.
Freemasonry infiltrated through these so call "Christian churches" is
continually attacking the heart of our church and will continue until the end of
time because it is the very spirit of Satan dressed up as a Christian angel of
Light.
The flirting of Catholics in North America with a misguided ecumenism has
created a grave threat against the weak in the Catholic faith that do not know how
defend their faith because they themselves do not really know it well. We have
to learn our faith and re-evangelize our faithful by teaching them the Social
Doctrine of the church and the true context of Catholicism. I strongly believe
that if we do this, we'll be able to rescue thousands of Catholics that were
stolen with emotional sermons, great spiritual tv evangelist spectacles and so
many other lies against the mother Catholic church. Let's do it. We can with the
help of the Holy Spirit and by becoming stronger spiritually through the
sacraments: Sacred weapons giving to us Catholics. The Eucharist!. The real
power against all evils. The path, the truth, the light. Eternal life. Praise
the Lord Jesus forever and ever!.

Christmas in Bogotá's
mission main house of Prayer + PICTURES 12-25 - 31, 05
It has been a tradition for the last six year of my missionary life, to spend
the time during the Christmas Divine Infant's novena in Bogota, Colombia. As I
mentioned in the past, the Divine Infancy of Jesus is the center of my mission
and spirituality. Through it the Lord Jesus has shown me the right path of my
missionary duties.
The novena begins on December 16th and ends on the 24th at midnight mass. I do
give talks on Divine Infancy some of the nights of the novena and have masses
celebrated during the novena at the House of Prayer.
The Holy Manger of Bethlehem is the very womb of our Christian life. The most
pure expression of love from God the Father. Simplicity and absolute humility
reunites around the hay of the Baby Jesus' manger's bed. A God that created all
and is capable of all lays His body on hay, the simplest and most elemental
pieces of nature. It is so simple that it's so hard for the human eye
contaminated with the esthetics of this material world, to see. God is perfectly
visible and we are to strive for perfection every day so that one day we are
able to perfectly see Him, in order to fuse our selves with Him eternally.
How much I would love to have every Catholic on earth get closer to the Divine
Infancy of Jesus, so that He can teach all of us how to become little and how to
die to self, a primary condition for achieving true Holiness.
If you have not done the Christmas novena this past Christmas, prepare yourself
to do it next year. You can find the novena in my website.
May the good Lord Jesus pour on all of you the Graces of His Divine Infancy
today and forever.
The Servants of The Holy Trinity from Toronto sent Christmas gifts for the
children; they were donated mainly from a kindergarten where the main servant
and founder works: Carmell Harrasum. May the Baby Jesus fill with love and peace
each one of the benefactors of these gifts for the poor. It is easy to bring joy
and hope to our brothers and sister in need. All we have to do, is to get
together and love one another as the Servants of The Holy Trinity do every year
for the ones in need.

of Coveñas + Pictures
12-18-05
It has been exactly a year since I came to visit two little villages by the
names of La Parrilla and Pijaito. These two villages are populated mainly by
African Colombians; people of very humble upbringing and with very little
economical resources. I am talking about a very simple and humble community
where peace and love among the people is not strange to see. Due to the long
absence of the Catholic church in the area, the Protestant sects have made an
impact on many of them. Curiously enough, even though they lended their ears to
some of these preachers, most of which are extremely aggressive against the
Catholic faith, they, in their hearts remain very Catholic. How did I find this
out?
The first visit was an invitation by a lady whose family owns property in the
vicinity. Some of these people have been workers for her family for many years.
Acting upon an inspiration of the Holy Spirit, this lady friend invited me and
the parish priest from the nearest church at San Antero, just 15 or 20 minutes
away from these villages, to come with her to provide a Sunday activity at her
house by the sea shore. She expected to have her own workers and those of her
family join a mass service. She invited them to listen to my testimony, hoping
that those living in common law would be willing to get married, those not
baptized to do so, those willing to receive first communion, to receive it. When
the time came to reunite at her house, we found out that many more people joined
from the neighboring areas, and we had a very blessed evening where many got
married, baptized and received first communion.
That beautiful docility of hearts deeply touched the heart of my lady friend and
that of the priest, as well as mine. Immediately she proposed to her workers the
idea of building a church right in their village. Their own church. Their eyes
opened wide with joy. The plan was set right there without a second thought. she
was to provide the finances and they would provide the labor. Everyone agreed.
It took one year and many trips and opposition by some regarding the materials
with which the roof was to be built. Her idea was to build a church that would
not be any different than their own homes. A rectangular building with a straw
roof. This was exactly how it ended up being built.
On December the 8th of this year, following a procession through the town with
our Lady's statute while praying the rosary, the church was inaugurated by two
Legionary of Christ missionary priests.
During the course of the year she had contacted the Legionaries of Christ
missionaries and asked them to join her with a visit to Coveñas.
They visited the area a few times during the year and set up a very well
programmed family missionary visit. Thirty-six families came with the two
priests to mission door to door throughout the two villages.
The results of five days of Missioning were so amazing that it was hard to
retain the tears of joy that wanted to pour out of everyone's eyes. All our
hearts where bursting with joy. Many, many got married, baptized and received
first communion, this time the numbers tripled. We were able to distribute
Christmas gifts to more than 400 children as well as offer great recreation. We
had a medical brigade with a team of doctors. Unfortunately, the benefactors of
the medications didn't make it this time with their donations, but more than 500
people received medical attention.
The church and the people couldn't possibly look any better, it was a true piece
of heaven. I was able to provide the liturgical vestment and altar vessels that
were donated by a good benefactor in San Francisco, California and also more
than a thousand rosaries donated in Canada and the USA. It was a joy to see
people that a few days earlier were afraid of going to confession or praying the
rosary, because of the errors taught by the protestants. Some were praying the
rosary again and going to confession and to communion for the first time in 60
years.
I consider this mission a true get together of the church. We can truly make a
difference if we all work together. We can rescue many brothers and sisters from
the hands of the Christian sects and from the hands of witchcraft and
superstition and so many other dangers.
May the Lord bless all of the benefactors that made it possible for this mission
to take place. The Lord Jesus will provide each one of you with a thousand fold.

Canada - part II +Pictures November 05
Father George Beaune, a Basilian priest in the city of Windsor, teamed up with a
very special couple by the name of Jeff and Susan Cada to bring me to Windsor
for a mission. We had spoken about this mission a few times in the last year or
so. Jeff and Susan have put together a powerful ministry through a prayer group
they have at their home on Mondays. This ministry has turned into a very wide
mission, involving a series of activities even overseas. We have missioned
together in St. John, New Foundland and also in Colombia. They are very dear
brothers in Christ to me, a great support to my mission with the poor in south
America.
This time I traveled from Toronto to spend the night in Windsor. On my way
there, I stopped to pick up a very dear Canadian priest by the name of Martin
Johnston. He has been a mentor of my mission in Canada and has recently retired
from the diocese of London where he was serving as a parish priest for a great
number of years. He is of great anointing and has been given a precious gift of
charity by our Lord Jesus. He joined me and together we spent two blessed days
of Missioning.
The following day very early in the morning we started with a meeting with a
very special apostle of Christ from Detroit. John Maher. His ministry is so
powerful. I was very happy to get to know him. He introduced us to a ministry of
serving the priests who are in legal troubles around the world, regardless of
the nature of their cases. It is something our Lord Jesus inspired in his heart
and the heart of his wife. They renounced a promising career as CEO of a
profitable corporation, and entered the service of God with true unconditional
love. They are actually holding cases of more than thousand priests from around
the world. John has met with our pope Benedict the XVI on numerous occasions; he
met him before as a cardinal and later as a Pope. What a great blessing was it
to get to know his mission.
Providentially so, that same day at 1:00 pm I was to give a talk to priests from
Windsor's diocese and some from Detroit. I spoke to 19 priests about my
conversion story and at the end introduced John to them. They were delighted to
meet him and to get to know his ministry.
Speaking to priests is for me not only a great honor, but it is also a great
blessing. The good Lord Jesus showed me a mystical view of the priesthood and I
think that it says it all. I know the precious gift that a priest is for the
church and the earth as a whole. I know the responsibility that they carry and
the great need of support and prayer that they are in need of. So it was
wonderful to meet with them. Even though my testimony of conversion involves a
mystical experience, they were kind and receptive and asked very good questions
at the end, some of them about the existence of Hell.
In the evening I went to give my testimony of conversion at father George's
community church. It was a full house and we had a very anointed talk. Father
George is a true gift to the church. He is in his eighties and he still works as
hard as if he were in his 50's. I love his spirit of loyalty and firmness with
the church and the faithful. A true and reliable priest.
I returned to Toronto and gave another talk on Victim Souls at the Carmelite
convent of Mississauga before I traveled to Colombia.
May the Lord Jesus bless all of these great apostles I just briefly mentioned.
Please keep them in your prayers.

Canada Part 1+ Pictures
November 05
Traveling from Windsor to Toronto on the 6:00 am train was beautiful and
peaceful. A snowy and very cold winter morning. I truly love Missioning in
Canada. It has been five years since I started Missioning here. This time the
preparation is for another encounter with the "Servants of the Holy Trinity". A
very anointed lay community in Toronto who have been blessed with a great
charisma. They have received the gift of supporting the prophets and visionaries
of the Catholic church from around the world. A mission that is not a simple
one. Private revelation presentations are a for sure a scenario of persecution.
The liberals hate it. The conservatives fear it and the Orthodox watch it very
carefully. Regardless of what they all think, the Servants open their hearts to
these instruments of God, always of course in faithful obedience to the Church.
This particular time I was asked to speak on Obedience. A theme that calls for a
serious deepening in a very subtle and intrinsic part of the human being. One
has a tendency to avoid perfecting obedience, due to the fact that it demands
giving up self, and positions one in a stage of renunciation to all preconceived
notions of self. Not an easy task. People are not very kin to work in this
matter, much less to obey it. What a great reason for this to be an important
area to challenge face to face.
What I love about the Servants' missions is the daring of inviting the speakers
to touch on topics that are usually the matters that make preachers unpopular
and unwelcome. I absolutely love it. Our church is in great need of a naked
message of truth. In need of a gospel that is not negotiated with the times. In
need of speakers that are willing to lay down their lives for the sake of the
kingdom of God. In need of missionaries of the love of God that come to deliver
the message of truth without worrying about being accepted or loved by everyone,
but focus on serving He who sent them: Jesus our Lord. Priests are in a very
difficult situation in countries like Canada and the USA. The regular faithful
aren't willing to put up with sacred tradition and are protestantising
themselves more and more; something welcomed by liberal priests, but for sure
not a joy for priests that are faithful to the true teachings of the Church.
That is why a lay community like the Servants is a vital cell of today's church.
They provide the mouthpiece of God, through the lay missionaries that they
reunite in their conferences, who have the rough job of exhorting the people of
God to shake up their mediocrity and lukewarmness, in order to make real
soldiers of the Church, so they can go out and defend the millions of souls that
are lost in this world and are marching in chains, straight to Hell.
I've missioned with the Servants in Ireland, England and other countries in
Europe. I recommend the reader highly to take a look up these Servants of God
and to be attentive to their future events.
I had the honor to mission again with John and Carol Leary whom I hold dearly as
true brothers in Christ. The list of the speakers I met through the Servants is
long. I can only say that they are all very valuable soldiers of today's
Catholic church.
May the Lord Jesus and the Holy Virgin Mary protect the Irish and French
Canadian Carmels who guide this community of Servants and everyone else that
supports them in all aspects. The Servants are allied in the missions I have in
Colombia for the poor and the needy. Our next mission will be India God willing.

Miami, Florida.
November 05
Florida is a strong presence of the Catholic church in the USA together with
California, both states being the home of a very large Spanish population. On
the Spanish side, you can find a very devoted group of Catholics in some of the
parishes, but you also find a massive presence of lukewarm Catholics that have
been badly impacted by the materialistic life they are facing as immigrants from
third world countries, where the majority don't have the comforts and
opportunities in their countries of origin as they have here. It's very common
also in the Caribbean Catholics, to find them very irreverent to the Blessed
Sacrament. Some of them will hold a conversation aloud right at the pew of the
church in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Something very difficult to stand. Not
to judge them, because, no one can tell the true state of holiness of any
individual other than God.
It is only very painful to see.
There is another factor among the Catholic Spanish immigrants and that is in the
dangers they face with the Christian sects. All these Protestant churches are
the home to a water down Christianity where the Catholic faith is their main
target of persecution. They recruit Catholics from the third world by the
hundreds, because most of them come to America with very little knowledge about
their faith and their Catholic church. The opportunists will take them and strip
them of the sacraments and talk down about all Catholic devotions and sacred
traditions, and turn them into simple worshippers of the word of the Lord and
singers of praises focused on a gospel of abundance and deliverance. A gospel
that does not speak about Calvary, pain or suffering. Only about the
resurrection of the Lord and salvation. A typical preaching of a materialistic
society that does not want to deal with pain, because for them: Christ paid it
all for everyone already. This creates a very weak society where psychologists
are more prominent than the sacrament of confession, which is erased from these
weak Catholic hearts.
There is hope though. We need to evangelize our Catholic brothers and sisters.
We need to teach them about their faith and give testimony of our Christianity
to them in everything we do in our daily lives.
On the English-speaking Catholic side, we find a large group of commuters from
the north of the country who come to spend winter in Florida, and a small share
of locals. They are your typical American Catholics where you find a liberal
church which practices Yoga and Reiki and at the same time prays the Rosary and
participate in all of the sacraments and of the orthodox Catholics who
faithfully follow the true teaching of the faith and who are the pillars of the
Catholic church.
There are great charismatic activities and missions of many different
spiritualities with the Catholic church of Florida.
I do speak at many different places and groups of the church in the Spanish
community as well as in the English speaking one. During this visit I recorded
two TV Catholic programs based on the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This
year I had the opportunity to mission in Florida three times.
Let's pray so that the Catholic immigrants from third world countries do not
fall into the hands of these water down Christian churches that do not pay
attention to Saint Paul when he said: "I do not lay down a foundation where one
already has been laid before. God forbid I ever do that". These Christian
evangelists forget that we Catholics are Christians too, and that we have been
already baptized in Christ our Lord. So they are laying a foundation where there
is already one.
Let's then intercede for these intentions in the name of our Lord Jesus and our
Lady the Virgin Mary.
Los Angeles, California +

November 05
Missioning in California could be phrased as Missioning in a place where I spent
25 years of my life living for myself and away from God. This new life in Christ
presents obvious and very rewarding signs and wonders, as I drive through the
freeways and so many sites that used to be my daily pagan life of the past. It
is amazing what the Lord does with us, when His hand touches us and He lifts us
up from the dungeons of worldly living, placing us safely in His hands of Mercy
and Love. Praise the Lord! for He has done in my life wonders.
I missioned with MOM Gospa prayer group of Van Nuys California. They put
together a congress every year where they reunite speakers from all over to
share with a very hungry-for-God congregation. Juliette is the heart of this
group. She is originally from the Philippines. A woman filled with the Spirit of
the Lord. She has been a lay apostle for many years now and has a great
discernment as to the needs of her congregation. It has been a true joy and
blessing to my ministry every time I am
invited to be a part of her activities here in California. We had two days of
retreat at the Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills. The Blessed Sacrament was
exposed during the two days, 24 hours a day. Four different priests were part of
the speaker series and mass celebrants. The sacrament of confession was
available during the two days. The themes were very different and the speakers
were from very different walks of life. Wonderful testimonies. Tales that will
turn someone's life, someone who's willing to challenge oneself to a true change
of heart.
California is a very peculiar place to mission at, not only because of the
latter annotations, but also because this state has been the capital of new age.
So here more that any where that I preach, I find more cases of Catholics that
have been deeply involved in New Age and absolutely know in a very personal way,
the amazing dangers behind all of these practices, due to the fact that these
practices are so widely spread throughout this land. The land of the magicians
and collectors of all kinds of superstitions. In a way it is good to see the
expressions of those who were freed by God from those prisons and slaveries of
the dark. One who has really understood what lies behind all of these deceiving
forces, can relate to the urgency to teach our brothers and sisters in the
faith, that our God is a very jealous God and does not like us to dwell into the
territory of false gods and fairy tales of superstitions and magic. It is not a
good idea to tempt God in such a way. Most of the people of God died in the
desert while going to the promised land, because they tempted God. It should be
a warning to all of us.
I truly love to see people like Juliette, who are brave enough to go through all
of this work of calling the herd of the Lord, especially the stray, to group and
listen to what the apostles of today have to say about our faith and the Lord
Jesus.
Mary is a very important center of spirituality for this group of people. The
Virgin Mary has given them a tender and steady hand of maternal love. A love
that can clearly be sensed through the work they do and put together, sometimes
against all odds, as it is common in every work that is inspired on proclaiming
the Kingdom of God.
I only spent five days in California, but it was a blessing. I had the chance to
visit with my two sons Santiago and Nicolas and to go to Willmington area in San
Pedro, to preach at a Mexican prayer group which I'm so kin of. Great and humble
warriors of the Lord Jesus' army. Every time I visit this state, I make sure I
visit them. They re-charge me with love and strength to continue this journey
with the Gospel.
In other words: California has been for me an intimate mission where I have more
than one interest, all of it for the Glory of God though. If you have a chance,
Please pray for the conversion of so many actors, musicians and people of all
angles of the entertainment industry. Many of them are in great danger of going
to hell. I know why I am able tell you this. So please include them in your
prayers.
May the Lord Jesus and our Lady the Virgin Mary bless you all.
Conyers, Georgia +
Pictures November 05
Conyers, Georgia has turn into a traditional visit of my mission; for the last
four years I have been giving talks at "The Farm" which has been the site of an
apparition of our lady known as "Our Loving Mother". This site has become a
center for evangelization, the house of different evangelists who come here to
speak to a great variety of pilgrims and local Catholics. Here and there you
will run into people of other faiths whom are drowned by the spirit of curiosity
and come to participate in the spiritual activities of the site.
This past Friday and Saturday evenings, I gave a talk to the English speaking
pilgrims. Both venues were truly blessed with a very strong presence of the Holy
Spirit. Today, Sunday the 13th was a special day. Every month on this day
beginning at noon, five rosaries are prayed and followed by the Divine Mercy
chaplet. At 4 pm I spoke to the Spanish speaking pilgrims. Some came from as far
away as Tampa Florida, a seven hour drive. They drove this far even though most
of them have to drive back to Tampa by tomorrow morning for work. The venue
today was filled with the spirit of joy and prayer and at the end was truly
anointed. I spoke about my conversion. Tomorrow I'll be meeting with the
Archbishop of Atlanta Monsignor Wilton Gregory, to ask for his blessing in order
to speak to a larger range of parishes within this diocese.
To conclude the report on this mission I'll say that it is a great feeling to
come here and see pilgrims from all over the USA, that still come back after
years now of having our lady appear for the last time to the visionary Nancy
Fowler. The blessings still are here and still are being poured down on the
faithful that come here. I do feel the peace and the love of Our Lady all over
this farm. May the Lord bless this site and keep it as an instrument of
evangelization for many years to come.

Italy 2005
I just came back to Rome last night from Missioning in Pompeii. I went to the
Church of Saint Peter apostle to share my testimony of faith with a very large
congregation which gather there on Tuesdays. Mass was co-celebrated by three
very anointed priest, among them, father Salvatore D'Outuomo the parish priest
of the sanctuary of our Lady of Pompeii. The people of this parish of Saint
Peter are blessed to have a priest, a good friend of father Salvatore, that have
been through a transcendental renewal of faith in , bringing so much
life to the parish that new faces are found every week looking for the true
water of the Lord Jesus.
Father Salvatore presiding the Eucharist, presented a vivid gospel through a
homily that clearly transpire the life of a faithful servant that has been
through the mill and back. It is a joy to be among true and faithful priest.
Especially on a time and age where good and loyal to the sacred tradition priest
and religious are so rare. The blessed Sacrament was exposed after mass and stay
during my whole testimony of an hour and a halve. People breath thirst for God.
It was a joy to give and give more and more insights of my mystical experience
with a congregation which was no less than a true sponge that was only wanting
more of God in every word that was said. There is no doubt in my heart that I
was for a few hours in the company of a good share of the remnant of this area
of the catholic world.
Father Salvatore was my welcoming priest to Pompeii. I met him in
during one of my missions there this last summer. We agreed on working together
on a few conferences in his diocese, so it was a joy to begin this journey of
missions with father in this area of Italy. He invited me the next day to share
a day of prayer and took me to meet our lady of Pompeii in the basilica where he
is the parish priest. A beautiful basilica, what a blessing for the church.
Blessed Bartholomew Longo who founded this mission is a true treasure: see
www.santuario.it
My conclusion to this mission in Pompeii will be: I was told that Pompeii is the
host of great Roman ruins which I didn't visit. I'm sure that this particular
historical site is the most interesting attraction for many, but I can say that
after having a personal experience with Jesus and realizing how large are the
treasures of our catholic faith. Life becomes much more than a historical site,
than a tourist and pleasurable trip. Life all of a sudden takes a whole
different meaning. It transforms itself into a joyful simple constant getting
deeper into the ocean of an immeasurable God that doesn't seem to amaze us the
more we thirst Him. He suffices, He fulfill us. He atracts us more that anything
we ever hunger for. That is why the meaning of Pompeii to me was to meet Our
Lady at the Basilica. To speak at Saint Peter's Church. To meet the people that
are making it possible for the Mercy of God to stay close to all of the ones
that aren't faithful yet: "The reparation crew". That is Pompei for me: Father
Salvatore and all of the workshippers of the Blessed Sacrament. It is great to
serve the Lord Jesus and to walk by the hand of Our Lady the Virgin Mary.
One of the other compliments of the trip was to be able to meet father Luis
Alfredo from Colombia my native land. He is the parish priest of Saint Joseph
church in San Cesareo and travel with me to Pompeii and was a great interpreter
for the conference and a powerful prayer support. This coming Saturday I'll be
in his church here in Rome, giving a talk after the evening mass. He went to
school here in Rome and was ordained as a priest and remained for the last 20
years in this area.
There is one more person who is the motor behind all of my missions in Italy; Madre Rosaria on whom I'll be writing a whole profile, because her
mission has to be presented properly and with time due to the gifts behind it.
I'll be back in Pompeii God willing, next summer. I received aid for the poor
priest, like liturgical vestments and some utensils for the celebration of the
mass. This aid goes toward my missions in South America.
Lebanon + Pictures Oct. 2005
I have been Missioning in Beirut since October 11th. It has been a true joy and
religious experience. The Eastern Church brings in an element of reverence and
tradition that has been sadly lost in great part in the Western Church. It is a
blessing to participate in a Maronite mass, a Coptic mass, a Byzantine mass, a
Greek Catholic mass and then a Roman Catholic mass that has kept the love and
the true reverence to sacred tradition. All of this is found in Lebanon. This
country as John Paul II said when he visited this land. " Lebanon is not only a
country, but it is a message to the world". I can see clear the tracks of the
apostles of Jesus on their way to Rome so many times and under so many different
circumstances most of them fill with persecution and all kinds of dangers. I can
appreciate the nearness to the Holy Land which lays alive only a few ho
